Tates now have 55 post offices in their stores and see them as a very important part of their overall business. The combined store and post office operation is seen by thecompany as a vital part of the community services
All Tates' post offices open from at least 0900 - 1730 Monday to Friday and 0900 - 1230 on a Saturday, with many offices opening from 0830 on a Monday. None of our offices close for lunch.
Tates are one of the most highly respected multiple partners of Post Office Ltd and have won the coveted Multiple Partner of the Year award for two consecutive years.
Tates were also the last partners to receive the Franchisee of the Year award back in 2000/1 to add to their recent achievments. Tates' aim is to keep the number one spot !! Tates have also had no less than 5 of their offices win the regional heats of the annual Best Post Office of the Year awards against 14,500 other postoffices !!!
The majority of Tates' post offices offer either euros/dollars on demand or the full currency service. Two thirds offer car tax along with all the other core services which include car insurance, home insurance, travel insurance, home phone, personal loans, credit cards, Instant Saver, premium bonds, capital bonds, personal banking (Lloyds/TSB, Barclays, Alliance and Leicester, Nationwide), benefit payments, phonecards, E-top ups, child trust funds, growth bonds, guaranteed equity bonds and much much more..........
